Baby Ky'Riq Bernard Banks

Ky’Riq Bernard Banks was born on August 29, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital, and departed this life on March 29, 2026, at the tender age of seven months. 

Ky’Riq was the beloved son of Michelle Garcia and Jeremiah Banks. He has one sister Kaliyah Garcia. He was the cherished grandson of Monica Diaz and Hector Garcia, Shanika (Dannie) Sanders and Benny Banks.

He was lovingly surrounded by his aunts, LaQuisha Banks, Chloee Sanders, and Madison Sanders; and his uncles, Hector Garcia, Juan Garcia, Luis Garcia, Dedrick Sanders, and Dylan Sanders. 

He also leaves behind his great grandparents, Louise Yates, Mattie (Allen) Collins, and Nealie Johnson. 

Ky’Riq attended Bright Beginnings and later Bubbling Babies Leake/Attala, where he was loved and adored by everyone who cared for him.

Ky’Riq’s mother described him as a happy baby who loved to be held, bringing joy to every person he met during his seven months of life. His beautiful smile could light up any room and melt the hearts of all who saw it.

He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who loved him.
