Doris McBeth Jr. was born and reared in Leake/Neshoba County on July 15, 1953 to the late Doris Sr. and Minnie Mae McBeath. He received his GED from Continental Academy. He was employed for 27 years at International Paper Company until he retired. He later started McBeth Trucking Company until his health began to fail. On October 7, 1973 he united in Holy matrimony to Hazel Johnson. He is proceeded in death by: Wife-Hazel McBeth, Father-in-law James Henry Johnson, Mother-in-law Ora Mae Johnson, Sister-Janette McBeath-Smith, Brothers-Terry McBeath, and Jerry McBeath. He leaves to cherish his life of loving, laughing, and trash talking to his family and a special friend Lisa Warnsley. He leaves his four sons and four daughters: Alex (Kinika) Johnson from Newton County, Toris (Therese) McBeth, Rico McBeth, Kendrick (Teresa) McBeth, Tracey (Angelo) Riley, Stacey (Kendrick) Norris, and Monique Moore, all from Leake County and Nikki (Lawrence) May from Smith County. He also leaves to cherish one brother and one sister Larry (Tersie) McBeth and Sandra McBeath (Excell). He also leaves to cherish two brothers-in-law Renell L. Johnson and Henry Lee Johnson and two sisters-in-law Bobbie Jenkins and Mandy Evans McBeath. He leaves twenty-two grandchildren, 4 great-grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, relative, and friends . In Doris’s unselfish way of life, he reared Marcus Warnsley, Takiriel Mitchell, and Jonathan Warnsley.
