James Spivey

James Lamar Spivey was born on July 4, 1943, to the late Curtis and Lue Willie Bufkin Spivey.

James joined Providence Missionary Baptist Church at a young age. He was a distinguished graduate of Beasher High School, finishing at the top of his class. Following graduation, he pursued a career in carpentry.

James is survived by a very special friend of many years; children; Charles, Dewoyn, Jamie, Jackie (Greg), Meshell, Renee, Monique (Kenyon), Amy (Gyasi), eighteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, one sister; brother and sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne, and grandson Terrance.

James will forever be in our hearts.
