Mrs. Jeraline Clark was born on April 25, 1958, in Carthage, Mississippi, to the late, Emmitt James Carson and Pearl Carson. She spent her formative years in Carthage, Mississippi, and graduated from Carthage High School in 1976.
Additionally, she attended Alcorn State University. Mrs. Clark later married Melvin Clark of Houston, Texas, who predeceased her.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Mrs. Jeraline was a woman of faith whose life embodied the virtues of righteousness, love, compassion, and forgiveness.
Her passions included attending church services and spending quality time with her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Mrs. Clark's warm sense of humor and delightful demeanor made those around her feel valued and at ease.
In her professional life, she excelled in customer service, where she could assist others and positively impact their lives.
Mrs. Jeraline Clark passed away on December 16, 2025. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, a kind heart, and words of encouragement that will be deeply missed. Mrs. Clark was also predeceased by her daughter, Rokeia Clark.
Survivors include her daughter, Jessica Clark of Houston, Texas; son, Rahein Clark of Lake Jackson, Texas; 12 grandchildren; sister, Betty Banks of Canton, Mississippi; brother, Elvin Vivians of Carthage, Mississippi; and a vast array of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who remember her fondly.
