John W. Holston

John William Holston, son of Sara Holston and the late Sammie Holston, Sr. was born on March 12, 1965 in Leflore County, MS. He departed his life Monday, June 23, 2025 at the age of 60.

John was the seventh child of 13 children. He received his education from Leflore County High School in 1984. He also received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mississippi Valley State University in May 1992. He worked at America's Catch until he became disabled. He made numerous friends and truly will be missed by everyone who know him.

John leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Kaifter, 28 years of marriage, son, El'Jonthan, his mother, Sara Holston of Itta Bena, MS; three sisters, Willie Holston, Sara Meeks, and Flora Holston all of Itta Bena, MS; Brothers, Sammie Holston, Robert Holston, Andrew (Shelia) Holston, Eddie (Lenetta) Holston all of Itta Bena, MS. Jimmie (Mabel) Holston, Greenwood, MS. A god-daughter Ke'yonca Sanders, Itta Bena, MS and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
