"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." 2 Corinthians 5:1
On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, Malcolm transitioned from this earth in the comfort of his home.

In the earlier years of his life he confessed his life to Christ.

Malcolm affectionately called "Michael" and "Red" loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He was comical, knowing that laughter is great for the soul. He would always say "Aint worried about nothin."
Preceding him in death are his parents; a brother; Joe, a nephew; Erick "Rudy" and a sister-in-law; Gwen "Punkin."
He leaves to forever treasure his memory, a son; Demetrius Wade, a daughter; Naja Finch. Eight siblings; Brenda Stribling (Napoleon), Rudell Fortune, Terry Fortune (Maxine), Hilda Kennedy (Glendale), Jennifer Shoemaker, Cynthia Fortune, Bernethia Fortune, Catria Hall. Michael will be remembered by the love and joy he brought to his family, friends, and to those whose lives he touched during his life journey.
Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.
