The Epitaph of Shaquita Shunta Beamon
1992-2024
Shaquita passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2024, at Baptist Leake Hospital at the age of 32. Born to Katherine Brown and Stevenson Johnson, the youngest child of all of her siblings. She carried the love of her life with a pure heart, a beautiful soul, a smile, and a giving spirit.
She confessed her life to Christ in her youthful years and joined Rising Chapel MB Church. She was a 2010 graduate of South Leake High School.
She met her soulmate at the age of 10, Jarvis Beamon, and married him on August 13, 2022.
Those who transitioned this life before her included her grandparents, Bustell Burks and Louise Townsend, Glover and Rena Mae Johnson, and a sister, Veronica Johnson.
She is survived by her husband; Jarvis Beamon, Sr., her children; Tyree, Tyrell, Jarvis, Jr., and Elijah. Parents; Katherine Brown and Stevenson Johnson, siblings; Daniel Brown (LaShannon), Jonathan Brown (Fredricka), Stacey Brown, Sharon Shepard, Shavonda Johnson, a special niece that was more like a sister to her; Alesha Brown.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and dearest friends.
Shaquita’s death leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
